OK, well maybe I have a little problem with collecting too much old furniture to refinish.

Resuming work

Nearly 4 years have passed since I began this blog.

Several projects have neared completion, but few have met my standards.

This post states my renewed commitment to this project.

My mission:
To fill my home with beautiful and comfortable furniture that I have rescued and refurbished.

Benchmarks:
Oct. 1: New Danish Dining Room Chairs
    (after that I'm not sure.)

Setting up my Weblog

Well, I've taught myself to use Typepad to set up this simple weblog. I've titled it "just tufting" in which I chronicle my adventures with Patty and Cathy, a pair of identical yellow loveseats born in the 60's, (when I was in my prime).

First I had to survey other blogs. Apparently they are all knitting blogs with half finished projects and dogs. And babies.

No blogs are dedicated to reupholstery. Why is that?

Adam helped me a little. His blog is wonderful and soon I will learn to link to it.

Before I could publish my blog, I had to have a banner. Once I figured out that I had to create my own  (using Arcsoft-whatever that is), it took me only about 30 minutes. And I'm really happy with it. No, not really, one of these days I'll adjust the color so it represents the REAL YELLOW of these babies.

So I'm up and running.
